I am a florist although I love Valentines Day, I often wonder why people wait until that one day of the year to express their LOVE.

In Australia Valentines Day isn't as big as it probably is in the US... but it certainly is commercially visible. I know many people in Australia get caught up with the fantasy of Valentines Day being the one-day for perfect love and romance and, like you say, many, many people finish the day very disappointed. It kind of reminds me of Christmas... for many people it never lives up to all the hype and expectations that surround it. In Australia Valentines Day isn’t as big as it probably is in the US… but it certainly is commercially visible.
