Exciting news! At least we hope so. In December we will see the release of a new musical bio-pic about Whitney Houston. The title? “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” Not sure that title will make people run to the movie theaters — but we shall see.
As you may know, when Whitney died in a hotel bathtub, not yet even 50 years old, we decided that her story would no doubt be an excellent example of self-inflicted death by the Fear of Being Fabulous. And certainly, as we researched her life, that was the truth!
We can only hope that the about-to-be-released film helps make that case obvious as well. Sadly, so many super-stars in film, music, sports, etc cannot live within the huge public image their talent helps them create.
